Life isn’t polished, and neither are my words.

This is a lifestyle blog where I share honest reflections, everyday stories, and personal experiences.

A space for stories, reflections, and maybe a few pawprints along the way.

CURRENT OBSESSION – Watching Sports Anime
I never thought watching animated characters chase their dreams would hit me this hard—but here I am, crying over baseball, basketball, and badminton. Sports anime isn’t just entertainment; it’s a whole emotional experience.

Nak tidur... but I’m conflicted. My brain won't stop thinking about my current obsession—sports anime. Kalau tak keluarkan dari kepala otak sekarang, confirm esok bangun jadi zombie. So here I am, tengah malam, typing this out before I explode. 😅

Throwback to the late 90s and early 2000s—yup, zaman Slam Dunk. Dulu tengok sebab nampak cool gila. Kalau kau minat anime masa tu, especially Dragon Ball, you’re basically the definition of “waaaahhhh, kakkoii!” Hahaha 🤣

Don’t ask me about manga! I don’t read anymore. Anime je. I watch them during break time or when I just need to chill. It’s my relaxation dopamine.

I got hooked on sports anime ever since I stumbled upon Oblivion Battery. It’s about a prodigy who excelled in baseball, but due to something tragic, he forgot everything about the sport he once loved. What caught me most was the friendship. It felt… real. Deep. I'm not gonna spoil the whole thing, just—go watch it.

Lepas tu, I searched for another sports anime and found Re-Main, about water polo. At that time, I was also on a mission to learn how to swim properly (which sampai sekarang... masih tergendala 😂). Again, same kind of storyline—obsessed athlete, memory loss, trying to rebuild. Tapi yang paling inspired for me was the team captain—so persistent, never gave up, tried for years to recruit members. That hit deep.

Then came Backflip!!, about rhythmic gymnastics. I LOVED IT. I’ve always been drawn to this sport especially masa Olympic Games or Commonwealth Games. Masa kecik, I used to pretend jadi gymnast, spinning around with self-made ribbons. Haha~ This anime reminded me how much passion matters. The main character had zero experience but kept pushing forward. It made me reflect—how often do we give excuses when all it takes is just one baby step?

Next, Ahiru No Sora—a basketball anime with a lot of heart. I didn’t expect to stay committed sebab usually I avoid long series (except One Piece, of course ☺️). Tapi this anime… I cried a lot. Tears of joy, sadness, and everything in between. They formed a basketball team from scratch and aimed high despite having average players. But I won’t lie—the ending made me go “urghhh 😭”. Not gonna spoil it. Go watch it.

After that, I needed something new... and landed on Cheer Boys!! Yes, a full boys-only cheerleading anime! Normally it’s all girls or a mixed team, so this one caught my eye. What’s cool? The main characters came from judo and switched to cheer. The team dynamics were epic. And oh—the plot twist? Just... watch it! (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Most recent one I’m watching is Love All Play, a badminton anime (aka my parents' favourite sport ever). I'm holding myself back from binge-watching sebab kerja banyak 😮‍💨. Can’t say much yet since it’s still ongoing—but I’m loving it. Might update this post once I finish the series.

P/S: Where I Watch Anime

I don’t subscribe to Netflix or other on-demand stuff. I watch them free on Ani-One Asia and Muse Asia via YouTube. Tapi tak semua region boleh access.

Alright, now it’s really time to sleep.

Just wanted to rant and offload my joy.

More stories coming soon.

Bye~ 👋
